Founded by Christopher Merasty, the company blends lived experience, cultural knowledge, and practical strategies to create real change. Christopher’s approach is built on authenticity, respect, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities across Saskatchewan.

Christopher has supported frontline teams, community programs, and youth leadership initiatives across the province. His work includes men’s wellness, mental health sessions, youth empowerment, leadership training, event facilitation, and community program development — always rooted in honesty, culture, and forward movement.

He is known for creating safe, empowering spaces where people can learn, reflect, and rise. Whether speaking on stage, guiding workshops, developing programs, or capturing stories through photography and video, Christopher’s mission remains the same:

Christopher Merasty is a Men’s Wellness Consultant, speaker, program developer, and multimedia creator. Through New Direction Consulting, he works with First Nations, Tribal Councils, schools, and community organizations to strengthen leadership, empower youth, support men’s healing, and capture powerful community stories.

Drawing from his lived experience, cultural teachings, and years of frontline work, Christopher brings an approach that is grounded in authenticity and connection. He has supported communities across Saskatchewan with workshops, program development, men’s groups, youth leadership sessions, and mental wellness initiatives rooted in cultural respect and strength-based practice.

Christopher is also recognized for his ability to build safe, supportive spaces where participants feel seen, heard, and encouraged to grow. Whether he is speaking to hundreds at a conference, working closely with frontline teams, or creating digital stories through photography, videography, and 360° media, his mission remains consistent:

As the Community Relations & Media Editor at New Direction Consulting, Noella Chief brings a powerful blend of cultural grounding, media creativity, and Cree language fluency to the team. A member of Onion Lake Cree Nation, she supports the development of strong community partnerships and produces culturally aligned media content.

Noella assists in filming, editing, and designing visuals that highlight the beauty, resilience, and achievements of the communities we work with. Her fluency in Cree allows her to communicate effectively with Elders, knowledge keepers, and community members, ensuring that their stories are represented with care and accuracy.

She is dedicated to uplifting Indigenous voices, strengthening cultural visibility, and supporting the mission of New Direction Consulting through relationship-building and creative storytelling.
